He was predeceased by: his parents, George Clouse and Clara Clouse (Prokosch); and his siblings, Merlin, Elmer, David, Robert, Joseph, Lawrence, Marjorie Hagen, Patricia Thomas and Marcile Brunko.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Becker; his children, Darla Clouse of St. Cloud, Dana Feddema (Tom) of Hanover, Daniel Clouse of Olivia and Darin Clouse of Olivia; his grandchildren, Carolyn Feddema, Lauren Feddema and Miranda Sulier; and his siblings-in-law, Del Roy Brunko of Blaine, Owen Enestvedt of Anoka, Connie Becker of Richfield and Sue Martin of Rosemount. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
