He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ziesmer and Irene Ziesmer (Kubesh); his siblings, Pat Swanson, Gordon Ziesmer and Curt Ziesmer; and his siblings-in-law, Arlene Ziesmer, Katy Ziesmer and Don Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Zempel; his children, Cheryl Braun, Kenny Jr. Ziesmer (Janet) and Kevin Ziesmer (Tia); his grandchildren, Taryn Ziesmer, Kaylyn Ziesmer, Dainika Doll and Trenton Ziesmer (Natalie); his great grandchildren, Paisley Doll and Kipp Ziesmer; his siblings, Harold "Red" Ziesmer, Ric Ziesmer and Mary Heck; and his sister-in-law Deb Ziesmer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cross of Calvary Lutheran Church (1103 Chestnut Ave, Olivia, MN 56277). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
