He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Brown and Marie Brown (Schulte); his wife Kathy Dillon; his brothers, Jim and Bob Brown; his siblings-in-law, Mike Dillon, Bob Mahoney, Francie Pearson and Jane Bruns; his nephew Jay Mahoney; and his parents-in-law, Gene and Bev Dillon.

He is survived by : his children, Emy Elbert (Rich) of Olivia, Jamie Stryker of Renville and Katy Holland (Josh Honzay) of Olivia; his grandchildren, Josie, Mckenna Lilja, Daylea, Autum Stryker, Delaney, Andrew and Kole Holland; his pet Annie; his siblings, Jean Herdina (Lowell) and John Brown (Michelle); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Johnson (Larry) of Richville, Tom Dillon (Barb) of Gunnison, CO, Deb Mahoney of Olivia, Jim Dillon (Joy) of Deer Creek, Kevin Dillon of Olivia, Randy Dillon (Kathy) of New London, Kelly Fischer (Beaver Hatch) of Olivia, Shannon Rothmeier (Kevin) of Olivia, Todd Dillon (Mary) of Olivia, Jon Dillon (Darla) of Olivia, Pat Dillon of Olivia and Dave Bruns of Jordan, MT. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
