It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Trapp of Olivia, Minnesota, born in Bird Island, Minnesota, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Fox and Bertha Fox (Dummer); her husband Charles Trapp of Mary's Catholic Church; her siblings, Arline Kiecker, Daniel Fox, Mary Ellen Fox, Diane Fox and Virginia Fox; and her brothers-in-law, Quentin Marks and Elgar Kiecker.
She is survived by : her children, David Trapp (Jan) of Kandiyohi, Theresa Trapp of Verona, NJ, Kevin Trapp (Karen) of Willmar, Steve Trapp of Grove City, Deb Trapp of Little Falls, Jeff Trapp of St. Cloud and Laura Pierskalla (Jason) of Kimball; her grandchildren, Nate, Nic Trapp, Madison, Mckenzie and Tristan Pierskalla; her stepgranddaughters, Vicki Baxendale (Bill) and Susan Fjerstad (Skip); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Katelyn, Jack Fjerstad and Connor Baxendale; and her siblings, Katie Marks of Olivia, Janet Haney (DuWayne) of Olivia, Suzanne Sanders (Scott) of Apple Valley, Jean Rood (Dean) of Murdock and John Fox (Kay) of Bird Island. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
