With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ronald Svoboda of Olivia, Minnesota, whose life came to an end on October 3, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Svoboda and Adeline Svoboda (Suess); his wife Paulette; his parents-in-law, Henry and Florence Jacobs; and his brothers-in-law, Lowell Larson, Dennis Balgaard, Steve Maher, Larry Jacobs and Gary Melin.
He is survived by: his children, Christena Svoboda and Andrew Svoboda (Amy Haala); his grandson Finley Svoboda; his in-laws, Gerald Svoboda (Carol), Bonnie Franzen (Brad), Brenda Maher, Joanne Balgaard, Nancy Jacobs, Lyle Jacobs (Judy), Eileen Melin, Gloria Larson, Marcia Taatjes (Jerome), Denise Iverson (Jeff), Nancy Standfuss (Phil), Marlys Sharpe (Keith), Kimberly Boike (Dean) and Loran Jacobs (Betsy); his son-in-law Alejandro Ojeda Estrada; and his grandchildren-in-law, Alejandra and Eduardo. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and their spouses, great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church (302 S 10th St, Olivia, MN 56277).
