With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernice Hunt of Olivia, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father William Leroy "Bud" Smith; her son Michael Johnson; her son-in-law Michael Arneson; her sister Ethel Huntington; her mother Helen Mosher Kurtzenberger; her half-sisters, Georgiann Ferring and Shirley Sidenkranz; and also William Leroy "Bud" Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Arneson (DJ) of Olivia, MN, Sharon Brasuhn (John) of Mounds View, MN, Linda Groth of Fridley, MN, Curtis Swenson (Sheri) of Danube, MN and Keith Swenson (Marie) of Sioux Falls, SD; and her sister LaVonne Johnson of Princeton, MN. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
