He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Shingobe and Susan Shingobe (Benjamin); and his siblings, Johnny Shingobe, Fredrick Shingobe, Franklin Shingobe, Melanie Sam and Geraldine Kegg.

He is survived by : his children, Charles Shingobe Jr. and Dawn Shingobe; and his siblings, Kathy Hill and Kenneth Shingobe.
