He was predeceased by : his father Kenneth Apel; his son Robert Apel; and his nephew Travis Jones. He is survived by : his mother Marion Apel (Rose); his siblings, Larry Apel and Pam Covington; his children, Jason Apel and Corrinne Apel; and his grandchildren, Sophia of Owen, DJ, Nicholas, Xaria, Frankie and Armonie. He is also survived by several cousins, aunts and uncles.
