He was predeceased by: his former wife Evelyn; his parents, John and Anna; his brothers, Stan Gruska, Raymond, Frank and John Mankus; his granddaughter Deidra Mankus; and his in-laws, Wally and Katie Zick.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy; his children, Terri Charles (Jerry), John Mankus (Susan) and Mark Mankus (Gina); his grandchildren, Lynn, Dave, Myles, Tessa, Danielle and Dylan; and his stepchildren, Diana Mattila (Paul), Debra Lynn, Donna Clapp (Tim) and Robert Steffes (Michelle). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Len wanted donations to go to the Marquette Catholic School in Virginia, MN.
