Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Barbara Johnson of Ortonville, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 89, on March 10, 2022. She was predeceased by : her parents, Mahlen "Rummy" Gruse and Ramona Gruse (Alsaker); her husband Leonard Johnson; and her sister Mary Gruse Jennett (Ortonville). She is survived by : her children, Brian Johnson (Alison) of Avon, MN and Anne Johnson (John Reale) of St. Paul, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

Memorials in Barb's name are preferred to Big Stone Area Healthcare Foundation.

“Brian and Ann I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom and dad were so special to my family. I remember stopping at your house after a summer band concert. The Remlers, the Sorensens all meeting at your house and sitting in the porch attached to the garage; such fond memories! It’s hard to believe that we are losing our parents and it is difficult but they were good people and I feel so lucky to have known you and your parents. Cosy Conyers”
