It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Nickolauson of Ortonville, Minnesota, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Beltz (Dorothy Schott) and Dorothy Beltz (Parrow); and her brother William Dale Schott. She is survived by : her husband Vernon Nickolauson of Ortonville, MN; her daughters, Bev Hiepler (Bob) of Bellingham, MN and Christy Johnson (Lyle) of Cottonwood, MN; her grandchildren, Brandy Verhelst (Lee), Samantha Hentges (Tony), Cole Weick (Stephanie), Devin Johnson (Dayna) and Brandon Johnson; her great grandchildren, Parker Verhelst, Sawyer Verhelst, Westley Verhelst, Audrey Hentges, Wyatt Hentges, Nolan Hentges and Logan Weick; her siblings, Dieanna VanDerBeek (Gerhardt) of Glenwood, MN and Richard Schott (June) of Branson, MO; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Schott of Chokio, MN. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First English Lutheran Church (9 3rd St NW, Ortonville, MN 56278). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Clinton Cemetery.
