He is survived by: his wife Kathy Pillatzke of Ortonville, MN; his son Francis Pillatzke of Ortonville, MN; and his siblings, Carol Karels (Francis) and Dale Pillatzke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (421 Madison Ave, Ortonville, MN 56278). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery (106 3rd Ave, Big Stone City, SD 57216).
