He was predeceased by : his parents, Hans Nelson and Esther Nelson; his wife Karen Morrill; his siblings, Richard Nelson, Maynard Nelson, Virginia (Fay Elvecrog) and Janet (Marvin Swenson); his parents-in-law, Cecil and Agnes Morrill; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Morrill (Betty), Donald Morrill, Leonard Morrill (Joan), Frank Morrill and Sylvia Morrill.
He is survived by : his children, Teresa, Susan, Bradley, Terie Dorry (Tom) of Ortonville, MN, Sue Trelstad (Terry) of Rochester, MN, Brent Nelson (Lori) of Ortonville, MN, Brad Nelson (Sara) of Milbank, SD, Bryan Nelson (Tammy) of Brookings, SD and Patty Ebnet (Joe) of Cottonwood, MN; his grandchildren, Megan, Micah (Rebecca), Jared, Reilly (Joleigh), Denise (Ron), Mindy (Robert), Dante (Josh), Seth, Candice (Chuck), Amanda (Alan), Angela (Matt), Matthew (Sadie), Ashley, Julia (Riley), Joseph (Shara), Nicole (Nick), Isaac, Raquel, Benjamin, Amy, Victoria, James, Shelby (Alex), Joshua (Tehra), Brandon (Lindsey), Justin, Allyson, Mallory and Kassidy; his brother Glenn Nelson (Joanne) of Ortonville, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Marianne Morrill of Ortonville, MN and Roger Morrill (Marlene) of Redmond, WA. He is also survived by 39 great-grandchildren (soon to be 40); 2 great-great-grandchildren.
