He was predeceased by : his parents, John Lind and Hannah Bailey (Hanson); his wife Vivian Irene Watson (Watson) of Ortonville, MN.; and his siblings, Lyle and Janice.

He is survived by : his sisters, Doris Watson and Lois Hall (Robert); his children, Sharon Toms (Dan), Linda Bailey, Darold Bailey (Paula) and Curtis Bailey (Linda); and his grandchildren, Chad Holtquist (Cheryl), Jesse Holtquist (Nikki), Jeremy Toms, Andrew Toms (Karla), Tom Bailey (Skylar), Jesse Bailey (Mimina) and Barbara Schultz (John). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
