He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dorry and Ramona Dorry (Gloege); his sister Mardell Adams; and his friend Mutzy. He is survived by: his former wife Gwendolyn Marie Larson; his pet Mutzy; his wife Terie; his sons, Chris (Kari), Ben (Larissa), Abe and Jake (Orquidea); his grandchildren, Jenna Dorry, Logan Benson, Josiah McLaughlin, Eliot Dorry, Owen Dorry, Archer Dorry, Israel Funches, Janelle Funches, Genesis Funches, Kiaus Boyd, Cameron McLaughlin, Maximilian Boyd, London Boyd and Billie McLaughlin; his siblings, Bill (Vicki), Mike (Diane), Sue Roshon (Bill) and Barb Johnson; his pets, Gabby and Sadie; Megan, Micah, Jared and Reilly.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Living Word Lutheran Church (101 Northridge Ave, Milbank, SD 57252).
