Allen Starry Obituary
We announce the death of Allen Starry of Osakis, Minnesota, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 87. Allen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Starry and Arlouewen Starry; his sister Judy Fisher; and his granddaughter Hally Dudley. He is survived by: his wife Sonja of Year's Day; his children, Tanya Umholtz (Vince), Karla Schumann (Monte), Matthew Starry (Michelle), James Starry (Mary) and Steven Starry (Diana); his sister Jane Hoffman; and his sister-in-law Anna Marie Johnson. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Salem Lutheran Church (16134 170th St, Osakis, MN 56360). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
