Curtis James Kalpin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Curtis James Kalpin of Osakis, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrick Frederick Gustav Kalpin and Marie Dorothy Kalpin (Hink); his siblings, Mervin Kalpin, Doris Ann Hauger, Iona Wunderlich, Verdeen Huwe (Engstrand) and LaVonne Cassell; and his granddaughter Riley Elizabeth Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee Larson; his children, Laurie Garcia (Tony) of Osakis, Jeff Kalpin (Merry) of Osakis and Patrick Kalpin (Erin) of Osakis; his grandchildren, Raquel Jahnke (Ryan) of Willmar, Savannah McCann (Jamie) of Paynesville, Peyton Garcia (Alicia Way) of St. Paul, Joey Garcia of Elbow Lake, Laney, Henry and Quinn Kalpin; his great grandchildren, Jonah, Caleb Jahnke and Mylah McCann; his in-law Bob Simonson; and his siblings, Curt, Pauline Larson and Patricia Larson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Osakis Lutheran Church (310 1st Ave E, Osakis, MN 56360). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
