Gustav W. T. Berninghaus Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gustav W. T. Berninghaus of Osakis, Minnesota, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Berninghaus and Alvina Berninghaus (Oswald); his sisters, Viola Berninghaus, Esther Klein (Tim), Pauline Elbert (Gene) and Alvina Walker (Les); and his siblings' children, Bob and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Berninghaus (Bargman) of Osakis; his children, Debra Hull (Chet) of Osakis, Tracy Caughey (Butch) of Brainerd and Michael Berninghaus (Sharein) of Long Prairie; his grandchildren, Donald, Samantha, Robert, Bryce, Joseph, Timothy and Micayla; and his great grandchildren, Westley, Grace, Lydia, Oliver and Audrey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
