It is with sadness that the passing of Jo Berninghaus of Osakis, Minnesota is shared. Jo, born on August 4, 1940, passed away on August 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bargman and Iva Bargman (Bell); her husband Gus; and her siblings, Milton Bargman, William "Billy" Bargman and Maralee Langholtz.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Hull (Chet) of Osakis, Tracy Caughey (Butch) of Brainerd and Michael Berninghaus (Sharein) of Long Prairie; her siblings, George Bargman (Linda) and Janel Johnson; her grandchildren, Donald Caughey (Beth), Samantha Rau (Ben), Robert Hull, Bryce Berninghaus, Joseph Hull (Rae Lanzrath), Timothy Hull (Alyssa Boysen) and Micayla Caughey; and her great grandchildren, Westley, Grace, Lydia, Oliver and Audrey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lind Family Funeral Home (1623 10th Ave E, Alexandria, MN 56308). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (2702 MN-29, Alexandria, MN 56308).
