She was predeceased by: her parents, Olaf Farder and Clara Farder (Lofthus); her husband Roy Gowan; her children, Rodney James and Elanna Kay; her grandchildren, Miranda Sue Gowan, Paul Michael Grzadzielewski, Grant Thomas Grzadzielewski, Baby Marvin and Baby Haug; her great grandchildren, Melissa Serena Beckert and Tucker Thomas Haug; her sons-in-law, Phil Yale, John Marvin and Dwayne Braaten; and her brothers, Orville, LeRoy, Maynard and Gerald Farder.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Gowan (Shelly) of Oslo, MN, Lynda Marvin (Scott) of Warroad, MN, Lori Marvin of Warroad, MN, Milt Gowan (Sally) of Oslo, MN, Lisa Haug (Howard) of Manvel, ND and Leann Grzadzielewski (Paul) of Manvel, ND; and her grandchildren, Jenny Gowan, Melissa Beckert (Shayne), Alaina Kopp (Lee), Patricia Wold (Zach), Nicole McFarland (Chad), Kristin Osowski, Matthew Osowski, Amber Kern (Derek), Ashley Voigt (Adam), Amie Roberts (Matt), Lee Marvin (Leva), Alisha Dostal (Tom), Brittany McGregor (Bryan), Briana Brodeen (Josh), Michael Gowan (Allie), Megan Happel (Andrew), Larissa Zeman (Cody), Landon Swallow (Madison), Sara Carlson (Michael), Thomas Haug (Christina), Tyler Haug (Larissa), Shelby Streiff (John) and Garet Grzadzielewski (Montanna).
