The family announces the passing of Phyllis Kosmatka of Oslo, Minnesota on October 10, 2026. Phyllis was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominic Duray and Delphine Duray (Riske); and her son Jeffery. She is survived by: Mark Kosmatka (Robert Lynn) of Townville, SC, Perry (Elsa), Gayle Lapsley (Robert) of Auberry, CA, Pam Carlson of Grand Forks, ND, Ross Kosmatka of Minto, ND, Scott Kosmatka (Nancy) of Oslo, MN and Keith Kosmatka (Lisa) of Lincoln, NE.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (515 Main St, Oslo, MN 56744). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery (6098 Co Rd 4, Minto, ND 58261).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations in Phyllis's name to the Alzheimer Association of North Dakota/Minnesota: 1375 South Columbia Road, Suite C1, Grand Fork, ND 58201.
