He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Bruder and Regina Bruder (Thill); and his siblings, Irene Reznechek (Chuck), Clarence (Marge), Clyde (Josie) and Ivan Bruder.

He is survived by : his wife Jeanette Jenc; his children, Vernon (Lori) of Long Prairie, Lynn (Julie) of Clotho, Lee of Long Prairie, Janet Lewis (Robert) of Perham, Nina Twardowski (Alan) of Alexandria, Amy Ebnet (Mike) of Long Prairie and Gail Snyder (Nathan) of Apple Valley; and his brother Warren Bruder (Ollie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
