With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVonne Martinez of Osseo, Minnesota, who passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though LaVonne has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel L. Martinez. She is survived by: her children, Judy Martinez-Sones (Chris), Dolores Varichak (Stephen), Jim (Pam), Victor (Melissa), Steve (Joanie), Ramon, Jason and Mark (Michele); her sister Gwen Chamberlin; and her sister-in-law Paula Martinez. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (9100 93rd Ave N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445).
