He was predeceased by: his mother Sylvia; his grandparents, Paul and Louise; and his stepfather Leon. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Todd (Mechelle), Jamey (Jody) and Brandon; his grandchildren, Justin, Jarred, Jason, Joel (Joe), Macalister and Brielle; his great grandchildren, Elaina and Violet; and his sister Peggy (Steve).
