With sadness, we share the passing of Leanne Joy Olslund of Ottertail, Minnesota. Leanne, born on May 29, 1956, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Leanne for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Leanne’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lon Stenerson and Arlene Stenerson. She is survived by: her husband Steve Olslund; her son Jace Gilleshammer (Jen) of Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Quinn and Piper; and her brother Monte Stenerson. She is also survived by brother-in-law; and several nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (619 Broadway N, Fargo, ND 58102). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
