With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Kerkvliet (Owatonna, Minnesota), born in Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on June 27, 2023 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Kerkvliet to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Monson and Florence Monson (Haller); and her brother John Monson. She is survived by : her husband Harold Kerkvliet; her sons, Rahn (Sherry) of Soldotna, AK, David (Alice) of Soldotna, AK and Daniel (Cecilia) of Anchorage, AK; her grandchildren, Joshua Kerkvliet (Keri), Katelynn Hawkins (Mike), Bien Metcalfe, Peter Metcalfe, Dawn Mettler and MaryJo Mettler; and her great grandchild Adalynn Ann "Addy".

Her body has been donated to the Mayo Clinic Anatomical Bequest Program for research.
