We announce the death of Doris A. Schmidt of Owatonna, Minnesota, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 88. Doris will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Luedloff (Wendell) and Edward Luedloff; her siblings, Baby Luedloff, Roger Luedloff and Jane Nash; and her siblings-in-law, Liz Schmidt, Karon Luedloff and Marvin Schmidt.
She is survived by: her husband David Schmidt of Owatonna; her children, Debra of Bloomington and Mark (Char) of Owatonna; her sister Betty Weierke; and her brothers-in-law, Jim Weierke, Earl Nash, John Schmidt and Forrest Schmidt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Michaelson Funeral Home - Owatonna (1930 Austin Rd, Owatonna, MN 55060). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Michaelson Funeral Home - Owatonna Starts (1930 Austin Rd, Owatonna, MN 55060).
