With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James W. Hartle of Owatonna, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James W. Hartle to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hartle and Mary Hartle (Seykora); and his sisters, Alice Henry, Lucy Peterson, Lorraine Butler, Ruth Grunklee and Rita Hartle.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Hartle; and his children, Mike Hartle (Heidi), Julie Thompson (Craig) and Bill Hartle (Jody). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers that memorials be directed to the Steele County History Center, the Owatonna Library or the charity of the donors choice in memory of Jim.
