She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Nix and Effie Nix; her husband Sandy Johnson; and her siblings, Wendell Nix, Robert Nix, Wayne Nix, Rolland Nix, Cyril Nix, Harvey Nix, Agnes Miles and Evangeline Sexter.
She is survived by: her children, Lorraine, Barbara Brindle (Ron Bagley) of St Peter, MN, Craig of St. Paul, MN, Steve (Debbie) of Lakeville, MN, Mike (Mary) of Lake Crystal, MN and Brad (Karen) of Owatonna; her daughter-in-law Jennie Runte of Lindstrom, MN; and her sisters, Virginia Van Horn (Roy) and Arlene Deuermeyer. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church or Steele County Historical Society.
