He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wheelock and Mavis Wheelock; his in-laws, Myron and MaryAnn Turner; and his brothers, Kent (Sue) and Patrick.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Luke (Megan), Tessa (Daryl), Mariel and Michael (Taryn); and his siblings, Lynette (John Zattoni), Marianne (Scott Kajer), Pamela and Greg (Donnette). He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic School or Lighthouse of Southern Minnesota.
