He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Geraghty and Helen Geraghty (Nelson); his son Andy Geraghty; and his siblings, Daryl, Gloria and Marlis.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Thompson of Owatonna; his children, Michael Geraghty (Maureen) of Andover and Bethany Adelman (Jeremy) of Minneapolis; and his grandchildren, Katie and Jack Geraghty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Michaelson Funeral Home - Owatonna (1930 Austin Rd, Owatonna, MN 55060). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Michaelson Funeral Home - Owatonna Starts (1930 Austin Rd, Owatonna, MN 55060).
