She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Sanders and Elvera Sanders (Reul); her husband Duane Urch; her grandson Joshua Turnlund (Fuller); her siblings, Melvin Sanders (Jean), Edward "Dick" Sanders (Elaine) and Elaine Wencl (Charles); and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Hanson.
She is survived by: her children, David Urch of Owatonna, Julie Turnlund (Tim) of Owatonna and Dan Urch (Candy) of Owatonna; her grandchildren, Michael Urch (Kelsey), Nicole Fuller (Jared), Karl Turnlund, Jessica Heins (Isaac), JD Rogers, JC Rogers and JB Rogers; her great grandchildren, Jeremiah and Addison; her brothers-in-law, John Urch (Kathy) and Glenn Hanson; and her aunt Toots. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Steele County Historical Society, memo: Village of Yesteryear, to help preserve the history of the historic structures for generations to come in Phyllis' memory.
