He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Carroll and Helen Carroll (Rea); his wife Lorraine; and his siblings, Lester Carroll, Leonard Carroll, Glen Carroll and Milo Carroll.

He is survived by: his sons, Larry Carroll (Nancy) of Sioux Falls, Roger Carroll of Claremont and Gary Carroll of Lakeville. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred to the VFW Post 3723, Aurora Lutheran Church, Steele County History Center, or the Owatonna Food Shelf.
