He was predeceased by: his wife Deanna Ohnstad; his daughter Karen Herron; his sons-in-law, Erwin Marold and Dick Hanks; and his grandson Nicholas Deloss Marold.
He is survived by: his former wife Phyllis Utecht; his grandchildren, Nick Marold, Courtney Wills (Riley), Kristen Pena (Michael), Brianna Koch and Kaley Murchie (Paul); his great grandchildren, Walker, Claire Wills and Niko Pena; and his children, Darrell Koch (Mary Lou), Sue Koch, Renee Hanks and Rhonda Koch.
