It is with sadness that the passing of Robert W. Wilke (Owatonna, Minnesota) is shared. Robert, born on January 26, 1930 in Blue Earth, Minnesota, passed away on August 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Robert will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Robert by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Robert is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Robert’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Wilke and Ella Emma Wilke (Kuenle); and his sister Barbara Wilke. He is survived by: his children, Chuck Wilke (Kathy), Susan Follese (Scott) and David Wilke. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (609 Lincoln Ave S, Owatonna, MN 55060). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. He absolutely adored singing in the Golden Tones until they disbanded due to Covid.
