It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert William Benson (Owatonna, Minnesota), who passed away on May 13, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Benson and Adrena Benson; and his siblings, Richard, Gordon, Laurence, David and Marcella Ramsey.
He is survived by: his wife Jane F. Meixner; his daughters, Theresa Schuette (Dean) of Claremont, MN and Tammy Lee (Craig) of Geneva, MN; his grandchildren, Cassie Zacharias (Tony) of Owatonna, Chase Schuette of Peoria and Megan Lee of Chester, IA; and his great grandchildren, Lillian and Isabella Zacharias of Owatonna.
Memorials preferred to St. Croix Hospice or Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Owatonna.
