It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Abbe of Owatonna, Minnesota, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Abbe and Ordena Abbe (Schley); his wife Dolly; his siblings, Janet Priebe and Robert "Bob" Abbe; and his great grandchild Jaydon.
He is survived by: his children, James Abbe (Lori), Rhonda Spatenka (Doug Wencl), John Abbe (Paula), Annette Spatenka (Dave) and Therese Wagaman (Tim); his grandchildren, Libby Burns (Riley), Erin Hartmann (Jake), Katelyn Emery (Trinity), Landon Spatenka, Aaron Niles (Katie), Samantha Pettit (Dustin), Jack Abbe, Lillian Abbe, Julia Spatenka (Joseph Reeves), Jessica Spatenka, Jenna Spatenka, Natalie Wagaman and Hailey Wagaman; his great grandchildren, Hannley Emery, Kellin Emery, Amelia Spatenka, Atlas Spatenka, Huxley Pettit, Valerie Burns and Haven Niles; and his sisters, Linda Wilkenson, Joyce Mokoff (Borris) and Marilyn Pirkl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (609 Lincoln Ave S, Owatonna, MN 55060). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family to be donated at a later date.
