He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sisser and Lillian Sisser (Johnson); and his uncle Don Sisser (Margaret). He is survived by: his wife Collette Bruzek; his children, Sue (Jeff), Mark Sisser (Laurie Riesenauer) of Prior Lake, MN and Jim Sisser of Owatonna; his grandson Josh; and his children, Ali Heidenreich of Oregon, WI, Chris Sisser of Prior Lake and Marie Ashby of Prior Lake. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (512 S Elm Ave, Owatonna, MN 55060). Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Joseph Church, Benedictine Living Community, or the Steele County History Center.
