He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Marie (Stuntebeck); and his siblings, Dick Schmitz and Mary Jane Cox. He is survived by: his wife Coral J. Schmitz of Park Rapids, MN; his daughters, Kristi Goochey (Aaron) of Park Rapids, MN and Pamela Christianson (Kent) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Mitch, Nick, Dan Christianson, Macy and Emmy Goochey; his sister Sally Lorentz; and his sister-in-law Karen Hall.
