Mier of Park Rapids, Minnesota, born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Minrod Mier and Amanda Mier (Carter); his siblings, Evelyn Hueston, Nancy Mahoney, Edward Mier, Joseph Mier, Hazel Meyers and Donald Mier; and his granddaughter Kristine.

He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Mier of Park Rapids; his children, Debra Ford (Ken) of Cadott, WI, Deanna Westphal (Joe) of Park Rapids and Donald Mier of Fridley, MN; and his brother Minrod Mier of Onamia, MN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
