Karen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Karen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Karen will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her father Richard Bleth; her brother-in-law Dale Bushman; and her great-nephew Layne A. Johnson. She is survived by: her son Jason Barkley of Austell, Georgia; her mother Marian Idovich (Lease) of Bemidji; her siblings, Susan Bushman (Dale) of Bemidji, Theresa Westin (Gary) of Bemidji, David Bleth (Lori) of Edina and Patrick Bleth (Cheryle) of Cohasset; and her close friend Greg Vines of Austell, Georgia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Guthrie Community Bible Church (43948 275th Ave, Laporte, MN 56461). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
