With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Edwina (Karki) Maki (Park Rapids, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward W. Karki and Ruth M. Karki (Aho); her nephew Keith Olson; her brother-in-law Robert Maki; and her husband Bill Maki.
She is survived by: her sons, Todd Maki (Amy) of Harris, Minnesota and Chris Maki (Stephanie) of Rapid City; her grandchildren, Kami, Wyatt and Ian; her sister Kathy Olson (Dwight) of Cromwell, Minnesota; and her brother-in-law Charles Maki (Pam) of Cromwell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bethany Lutheran Church of Nevis.
