He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore Freier and Olga Freier (Brosz); and his sister Evelyn Siewert. He is survived by : his wife Gerda Idelle Freier of Park Rapids; his children, Nola Petrisse Erickson (Jeffrey), Dr. Timothy Alan Freier (Laurie) and Ethan Jerome Freier (Colleen); his grandchildren, Idelle, Emily Erickson, Theodor Freier, Brennan, Maura and Cullen Williams-Freier; and his brother Dr. Duane Freier.
