He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold George and Patricia George (DeMaris); and his niece Tara Akins. He is survived by: his wife Diane George of Park Rapids; his children, Amy Heinzen of Moorhead and Ryan George of Moorhead; and his siblings, Beverly Wright (Dennis) of Osage, Connie Akins of Park Rapids, Pam Howard (Jeff) of Burnsville, Tom George (Tracy) of Punta Gorda, FL, Leo, Lois Schmid of Park Rapids and Jeff Sievers of Park Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
