He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard LaFountain, and Dorothy LaFountain, Sr. (Kirsch); and his daughter Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Julie LaFountain; and his children, Dawn Lohse, Richard LaFountain, III, Adam LaFountain, Andrew LaFountain, Christopher LaFountain (Samantha Sipes) and Eric Lafountain. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First English Lutheran Church (17 Main St W, Menahga, MN 56464).
