With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Teresa Agnes Sperling of Park Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on September 5, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter John Gartner and Helen Irene Gartner (Brick); her parents-in-law, Wilbert C. and Lydia F. Sperling; her brother James Edward Gartner; her brother-in-law Roger Pihlaja; and her niece Kayla Gunderson.
She is survived by: her husband Lowell Edward Sperling; her son James Lowell Sperling "Jim"; her grandchildren, James Michael "Jimmy" Sperling, Kimberly Rose "Kimmy Rose" Sperling and Christopher Jacob "CJ" Sperling; her siblings, Joanne Shepersky (Marvin), Ray Gartner (Carol), Robert Gartner (Colleen), Linda Pihlaja (late Roger), Larry Gartner and Nick Gartner; and her sister-in-law Judy Gunderson (Marvin). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Even preceding her death, Teresa kept that heart of giving alive by way of organ donation and changed over 78 people's lives.
