He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Karger and Jessamine Karger (Diekow) of Parkers Prairie; his parents-in-law, Leonard and Gescha Husfeldt; and his brother-in-law Merlin Hollatz.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Kimberly Thormodson (Kenneth) of Miltona and Kevin Karger (Tammy) of St. Michael; his grandchildren, Abigail Karger, Preston Karger and Jayden Karger; and his sister Gloria Hollatz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (709 S Douglas Ave, Parkers Prairie, MN 56361). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
