He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Burquest and Florence Burquest (Madson); his siblings, Lorraine Krause (Howard), Lawrence Burquest (Darlene), Violet Kerr (Roy) and Myron Burquest; his children, Jimmy and Kathy; and his brother-in-law Ray Fukuchi.
He is survived by : his wife Colleen Connors; his children, Tom Burquest (Joan) of Rose City, Tim Burquest (Elizabeth) of Roseville and Krystal Marso (David) of Battle Lake; his siblings, Romaine Herndon (Michael), Myrna Fukuchi and Roland Burquest (Marlys); his sister-in-law Judy Burquest; his grandchildren, Erin Krueger (Brian), Matthew Burquest, Kathryn McDaniel (Hunter), Abby Burquest, Frank Burquest, Joey Burquest, Adam Marso, Dan Marso, Emily Marso and Allison Marso; and his great grandchildren, Sam, Joanna, Eliza, Bennett and Evie Krueger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
