Allan Solum Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allan Solum of Paynesville, Minnesota, who passed away on January 10, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Solum and Lottie Solum (Restad); his stepmother Ann; his siblings, Robert Solum (Donna) and Gwen Selseth (Pete); his stepsister Helen Erickson (Merle); his siblings-in-law, Linda Rupp, Dennis Rupp and Robert Spahn; and his great grandchild Zakota Solum.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia of Paynesville, MN; his children, Christi Wenner (John) of St. Michael, MN, Jennifer Erchul (Rory) of Pocatello, ID and Matthew Solum (Nicole) of South Bend, IN; his stepchildren, Aaron Ziemer (Cheri) of Marshall, MN and Gretchen Ziemer (David Scholnick); his son Alexandre Inneco (Silvana) of Belo Horizonte, Brazil.; his grandchildren, Tori Wenker (Ben), Madalyn Wenner (Dylan Huot), Dakota, Piper (Jake Thompson), Peyton Erchul, Ashlyn (Jerry Hines), Kiley, Madison Solum, Layne, Madigan Ziemer, Zander Scholnick and Daniel Inneco; his great grandchildren, Joseph, Virginia Wenker, Jerry, Nekhi Hines and Zakia Solum; and his siblings-in-law, Priscilla Bormann (Gerald), Phyllis Spahn, Peggy Bayer (Bruce), Diane Rupp, Darrel Rupp (Diane), Douglas Rupp (Char) and Daniel Rupp. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
