He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Binsfeld and Teresa Binsfeld (Arnold); and his siblings, Jim, Dick, Jack, Mary DeMorrett, Kay Binsfeld and Joann Binsfeld.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Knisley; his children, Michael (Gretchen) of Hutchinson, Melissa Schlangen (Jim) of New London, Matthew (Kimberley) of Lakeville and Joshua of Paynesville; his grandchildren, Eleni (Seth), Brett, Taylor (Corey), Jack, Cole, Rylie, Paityn (Devon) and Adyson; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Quinn, Lennyn, Jett and Amelia; and his siblings, Lois Gruenwaldt of Eau Claire, WI, Betty Benjamin of Hutchinson, Donald (Colleen) of Cold Spring and Dorothy Bistodeau of Blaine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 8 Jul Visitation St., Louis Catholic. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church (505 Burr St, Paynesville, MN 56362).
